Performance Management in Czech Construction

Performance management belongs to crucial managerial activities. This study aims address how performance in construction is applied among Czech public organizations on the project level. In order this issue, qualitative data has been collected by semi-structured interviews of experienced experts representing owning/operating important facilities and infrastructure (road rail infrastructure, water sewage systems, education collectors). Findings revealed that level adoption rather low, mostly focus supplier evaluation as a response ISO 9001 requirements. The practical use BIM or life-cycle costing reflection preparation phase, other hand, progressive approach terms deployment modern equipment for monitoring structural defects robots maintenance repairs.
